The Royal Lakeside Golf Club was originally opened in 1993 with renovations taking place in 2011. The course is situated at the mouth of the Bangpakong River. It is surrounded by a lot of natural features such as numerous flowers and shrubs which make up its striking surroundings. A number of holes on the course run along the wide lagoon that is around the course while others require players to hit right across the Bangpakong river. The lagoon has dual purposes.
